It's the third year in a row for St. Cyr to win a radio news award.
So what’s wrong with this picture?

Work broadcast during 2009, was judged by former news directors from Alabama and Kansas, local advertising agencies and the Associated Press, according to NMBA’s website.
St. Cyr moved from being chief political reporter at 770 KKOB AM News Radio about three months ago to KOAT TV Action 7 NEWS where he now is the evening assignment editor.
KOAT has passed up a great opportunity to benefit even more from St. Cyr’s extensive list of contacts than they already are now, "KOAT is utilizing my contacts. I call up my people and ask them if one of my reporters can talk to them,"St. Cyr wrote.
If he blogged, St. Cyr could add depth to their on air stories which, are limited by the short amount of time available to develop more complex stories.
However, such extensive stories are reduced to a headline and a paragraph during their broadcasts.
The political insights and news sense represented in St. Cyr's former blog should now be an indispensable part of KOAT's website.
